Brother Sun 03:14
All set for the introduction This is life, here's your portion I blacked out Now I'm under the sea Watch the last breath of air leaving me (That's right) Let's start the reconstruction Set these plans into motion I'll tear down, and you'll rebuild Hold on tight cause the world spins Traveling by night And sleeping during the day Then the car broke down Now we're nowhere You never let me lie And you never Ask me why I hide All this hope inside Just let it shine Brother sun chases you To catch his sister moon Son of wolf, let's just embrace What is What was And you And we're riding on a wave Sold the anchor, and burned up the sail Chewing on new thoughts, but the flavour is wrong Breathing out the words Let the sentences be partly formed When you clap your hands it's gone Brother sun chases you To catch his sister moon Son of wolf, let's just embrace What is What was And you Rewind back to the introduction This was life This was my portion They tore it down Let's rebuild Hold on tight Cause this world spins

Cure 03:45
Sing young man Sing of the days that will come Your eyes see hope, so confident and calm No clouds in sight To obscure the sun Old and new, just like conjoined twins we'll exist All of our conversations end We can can agree on not agreeing on a thing You say silence I say sing And all of our conversations end Search through the lost and found Until we find cure Sing old man Sing of the days that have passed Cloud filled skies Milky white gaze Now clouds will shields Us from the burning rays Old and new Just like two conjoined twins We'll exist All of our conversations end We can can agree on not agreeing on a thing You say silence I say sing And all of our conversations end Search through the lost and found Until we find cure

Sadie 04:06
Sadie Let's drive back to the lake, with beat up hearts and shaky nerves We'll sink to the bottom and find the pearls that we hid I hang hang on to the memories we created instead Let's pretend that we're sleeping Let's pretend we still care It used to be funny Now no one laughs When everything that you thought you knew is wrong And everyone that you ever knew are gone When everything, everyone melts into nothing What can you do When everything that you thought you knew is wrong And everyone that you ever knew are gone When everything, everyone melts into nothing What can you do When everything that you thought you knew is wrong And everyone that you ever knew are gone When everything, everyone melts into nothing What can you do While drinking heartless melodies Flows through the air Please talk to me Sadie While drinking heartless melodies Flows through the air Please talk to me Sadie We'll drink a toast to absent friends instead of these comedies Sadie We drank the heartless melodies Open your ears Succumb to me Sadie

First things first We're not here Nor were we ever fully present and aware Our feet hang down From the upper branches of the tree Grasping for air But enjoying the view Now taste the confusion By plan it's in our design We made a map to manoeuvre The emerald paths of your mind We're standing in line For some time in the sun We're dazzled by emerald We excavated from our mind Now taste the confusion By plan it's in our design We made a map to manoeuvre The emerald paths of your mind Now taste the confusion By plan it's in our design We made a map to manoeuvre The emerald paths of your mind

I carried your body back into the night leather skin, parchment lips, and distant green eyes we left our mind and reason back home we'll live under the sky, and the stars, and the moon As your body shakes in the dark You no longer remember my name As your mind melts in the dark You no longer remember my face Your pack has been spotted clawing at our door Razor claws, iron fur and beastly cold eyes you said that I should remain in the light But that there will always be room for one more When the time comes to howl at the moon As your body shakes in the dark You no longer remember my name As your mind melts in the dark You no longer remember my face As your mind melts in the dark You no longer remember my face Your pack of wolves is on the hunt and I'm their prey, crack my bones, tear my flesh until nothing remains (The strength of the pack is the wolf, strength of the wolf is the pack)

Rest now, you've travelled long and so far just to reach this point You spent your best years being depressed, and the rest hiding somewhere I suggest you give those thoughts some rest cause there's nothing on the other side Tonight You claim that you have been cursed By every rock and every bird The mountain still singing and your ship is sinking the map still has blind spots to be filled in All your riddles are solved And you are standing naked Before me Hey man I know you're stressed But don't do Something we'll both regret You've spent your best years being depressed And the rest in hiding somewhere Last night I saw you banging a drum A blink, then your gone Tonight you claim that you've been cursed By every rock and every bird Every night it's growing worse Soon the bubbles gonna burst The mountain still singing and your ship is sinking the map still has blind spots to be filled in All your riddles are solved And you are standing naked Before me

Cheerful is the hearth, soft the matted floor; No shivering gust creeps through the door; The little lamp burns straight, its rays shoot strong and far: I trim it well, to be the wanderer’s guiding-star. That whirls the wildering drift, and bends the groaning trees. Watching every cloud, dreading every breeze That whirls the wildering drift, and bends the groaning trees.

Silent dancers Spell out the answers with eurythmy Translate Translate Translate please We got sign language and Morse code, yet we could never speak Parley Parley Parley please As we strummed the final chord the lights would slowly dim You never listen and you never give a damn I'm a jigsaw puzzle that you wouldn't solve You're a peacock parading on my lawn As the lights went on We endured the storm (And then it all comes back to me again) Touched that gaping wound in my head And then my hands were coloured red As we strummed the secret chord the lights would slowly dim Listen listen, to the words we never said You're still a riddle that I cannot solve And I'm a funeral marching through your halls (And it all comes back to me again)

Lyrics by Lewis Carroll "Will you walk a little faster?" said a whiting to a snail, "There's a porpoise close behind us, and he's treading on my tail. See how eagerly the lobsters and the turtles all advance! They are waiting on the shingle – will you come and join the dance? Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance? Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, won't you join the dance? "You can really have no notion how delightful it will be When they take us up and throw us, with the lobsters, out to sea!" But the snail replied "Too far, too far!" and gave a look askance -- Said he thanked the whiting kindly, but he would not join the dance. Would not, could not, would not, could not, would not join the dance. Would not, could not, would not, could not, could not join the dance. "What matters it how far we go?" his scaly friend replied. "There is another shore, you know, upon the other side. The further off from England the nearer is to France -- Then turn not pale, beloved snail, but come and join the dance. Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance? Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, won't you join the dance?

Suns Reverse 03:31
All suns reverse And all moons re-phase Yet there is no change No sounds are heard And no light are seen Inside this pitch black room All suns reverse all suns reverse all suns reverse all suns reverse All days are nights all nights are long almost endlessly no chance for change within the walls of this pitch black room This black heart is my core And it's mass has grown to large for my body to contain When we finally learned it's scale We'll tear this cursed tumour out So we can breath again It's a beast that must be fed Devours all meaning, and a bleak landscape is left in it's wake this terror fills the house I'll just collapse Now there's no light no sounds All suns reverse All suns reverse All suns reverse All suns reverse It's a beast that must be fed Devours all meaning, and a bleak landscape is left in its wake this terror fills the house No escape Now there's no songs, no sounds

about

While this originally was released under the Ghost Karaoke name, in essence this is what started out as the planned follow up to our self titled 2012 album,
We had at the time written several songs with vocals, so set out to make our next album mainly based around vocals with a couple of instrumentals, working title "They Should Have Kept Their Mouths Shut"

Several songs that ended up on this album, was written for, pre-produced and in the early stages of recording for that planned SJ5 album.
But we stopped the recording and both the album and the future of SJ5 at the point was in limbo.

A couple of the songs on that album had involved drummer Sven Andréen on a second drum kit, he already had a long history with SJ5, playing with both Kaldhol and Bade in other bands in the past, including an earlier two drummer version of SJ5, and he played percussion on Easily Misunderstood.

So he was the obvious choice when we wanted to continue working on the songs.
